jkate This band has me more excited about music than I have been in a while. I have come to appreciate Jimmy's solo acts because it strips away the film of musical layers on a song and takes the song down to the music, the lyrics, the melody and the meaning.

mari this band has given me a sense of peace amidst the chaos of life. jimmy's words have touched me on a level i can only describe as surreal. when i listen to ours', i find a sense of safety and truth; i feel ok to be vulnerable and feel all the emotions i have locked inside. thank you, ours!

Brandon Petrozzi Ours, wow... there isnt enough good things that i can say about this band. This is what rock music should be all about though. Who care's if its radio friendly, or anything like that. This band is amazing because they are different, their songs are beautiful, lyrically, and musically, and Jimmy's voice is absolutely incredible and amazing. Way to put my faith back in the music industry guys!!!

lead us to our doom I LOVE THIS BAND!!!. Jimmy shows more emotion in his songs than most do in rock music. I hope that he keeps writing and allows us to listen to his work.

Raina You know how through so many days you succumb yourself either to an endless amount of sounds that may please you ears or hurt them. This band, this voice, this music has been one of the first sounds in a while that touches my ears in an unbelieveable way. Not since Jeff Buckley has a man brought such seductive sound to my walls. The words, lyrics and music give me a little bit of hope that there are still a few people who have passion about happiness and sadness and actually working to find your soulmates. There is an importance of the few people who actually pierce your life and you know who they are because they make more then a dent.

tiresthatgrip jimmy's voice is remeniscient of jeff buckley's. their blazing guitar rock edge recalls early radiohead. but this band is truly more than just the sum of their influences. beautiful.

guyasin Went to the show at Vanderbuilt 21st of feb. in NY. This is one of the few times I've ever heard a band play live and sound just as and better than their CD. The place did not sell out but they(ours) still performed over expected with extended versions of some songs. Last with a voice and depth lyrics as Jimmy's I hope he never dissappear's.

Tiffany I remember the first time I heard OURS. I was on my way out the door, but i wanted to quick check what was on MTV realy quick, since it was MTV2 week and they were actually playing videos! I caught the last 20 seconds of Sometimes and was floored. Then I saw Distorted Lullabies on sale for $10 at the mall. All I had was the $10 in my pocket, though, and a stomach that had been empty for a week. I didn't want to buy it, because I wanted food...that and I'm picky about the CDs i buy. But, somehow I knew that I'd regret not buying it, so I decided it was better to starve than to miss this album, so I bought it. When I got it home and sat down to listen to what made my stomach hate me...I just stared at my stereo with tears in my eyes. I could not believe this amazing piece of work that I owned and to this day, I still react the same way. OURS has always been music that I feel, not just music I listen to. In a world where music isn't supposed to really affect a person, OURS truly makes you feel something way deep in your soul. And for that I will be an OURS fan forever. They made me remember what it was like to feel again.

Angel of Melancholy Ours is amazing..Jimmy's lyrics an voice are beautiful and more inspirational than anything. Music is life..Music is Ours.. Thank you all for helping all of us through the hard times..Through your music.

~T~ The most important thing about Jimmys music , any of it, is that it not only heals and inspires us in many ways, it is doing the same for him. Its not every day you come across something, anything filled with such beautiful energies, and i know that whatever road Jimmy and his music travel, it will always meet with people who can appreciate it, and support it with a fire in their soul and love in their hearts for its cause, and content.

melissa major 904-228-0040 well, as for starters....the band is awesome. i have seen them play four times, in the last year and a half, and to tell the truth it will not be the same with dave not there. i know that he wants to do his own thing, and playing the guitar isnt what he whats to do forever, and i can see where he is coming from, and totally understand. you guys are awesome, and pit....you catch on fast! hope to see them in jacksonville florida again soon, and i will exspect to hear "crying" once more! OURS for life...
